The Society of Actuaries has developed a report that documents the process of creating experienced-based tables for mortality rates, lapse rates, incidence rates, severity rates, and much more. It is hoped that this report will serve as a reference manual for the development of future tables through documenting common and alternative practices and sharing ideas that may improve productivity or quality.
