U.S. Motor Vehicle Accident Deaths 1999-2016

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) is pleased to present a report that examines historical U.S. motor vehicle accident deaths. The report uses data from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration and the Federal Highway Administration. It reviews experience by person involved (driver, passenger, other), age, gender, region, and vehicle type. There also is a section that analyzes the influence of alcohol on the occurrence of motor vehicle accident deaths. The report and a file with all the appendices can be found below.
