The CAS-CIA-SOA Risk Management Section’s Research Team is pleased to make available a new research report that explores the linkage between risk management, capital management and financial management within insurance companies and other industries. The report, written by Aaron M. Halpert and Leslie R. Marlo of KPMG LLP, was motivated by the team’s desire to examine how companies can institute processes and infrastructure to optimize the interaction between these critical functional areas.
