This report builds on and extends research previously produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  The report analyzes 2015 vs. 2010 potentially preventable deaths from the five leading causes of mortality in the United States. This report also provides expanded analysis of the population and potentially preventable death rates by age group.
