2000-16 Individual Long-Term Care Policy Persistency – Lapse and Mortality Rates Report

This report is the fifth in a series of studies conducted jointly by LIMRA and the SOA Long-Term Care Experience Committee. The report presents results for industry long-term care insurance (LTCI) persistency. Persistency is examined based on eighteen participating companies reporting lapse, mortality, and total termination activity for calendar years 2000 through 2016. The report and a supplemental Tableau database with several dashboard views which can be accessed in the Materials section.
