The syllabus has been updated to reflect that candidates may also use the latest edition of the text, Morneau Shepell Handbook of Canadian Pension and Benefit Plans, 17th Edition, 2020.

In Learning Objective 3, two additional notes have been linked in the syllabus: CIA Section 3500 of the Practice-Specific Standards for Pension Plans – Pension Commuted Values (Subsection 3570) and CIA Section 3500 of the Practice-Specific Standards for Pension Plans – Pension Commuted Values (other than Subsection 3570).
