CFE 101 Enterprise Risk Management
The Enterprise Risk Management course is the first part of the two-course sequence in the Corporate Finance and ERM practice area. It is required for candidates seeking to earn the Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) credential.
Course Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of CFE 101 Enterprise Risk Management, you will understand the following learning objectives:
- The foundations of ERM and be able to apply them to organizations;
- The types of risks faced by an entity and be able to identify and assess these risks;
- How an organization can articulate its approach to risk and how to assess risk and return trade-off;
- The approaches for managing risk; and
- The different concepts of risk capital, risk measures in capital assessment and techniques to allocate risk capital once aggregated.
