The Society of Actuaries has postponed its first offering of the Canadian version of the Financial and Regulatory Environment exam until spring 2015. This does not affect the United States version of the Financial and Regulatory Environment exam, which will be held on May 2, 2014.

Candidates who planned to sit for the Canadian-specific exam in 2014 are reminded that the SOA recognizes the Casualty Actuarial Society’s Exam 6-Canada-Regulation and Financial Reporting exam and will do so through Dec. 31, 2015. Learn more about applying for transfer credit.
